Blacksmith continue to support local football team
Blacksmith Freight are proud to sponsor the Benchill Celtic under 12’s football team from Manchester, one of the biggest and longest established clubs in the Wythenshawe area. Nicknamed the ‘Green Army’ the team continues to go from strength to strength and the club has recently gained the prestigious FA Charter Standard. Benchill Celtic JFC is an all abilities football club which aims to ensure that everyone in the community has the opportunity to be involved with the club and that everyone involved has fun.
Blacksmith New Head Office
We are please to announce Blacksmith Freight have now moved their Head Office to a large new facility based a prime location at Manchester Airport World Freight Terminal.
This new facility just a few meters of all the major airline bonded warehouse's and customs and excise. This enables Blacksmith react immediate to urgent airfreight shipments that can be delivered to our warehouse and processed something that our larger off airport competitive are simply not able to offer.
Warehouse
The new premises boasts a much larger fully racked warehouse that will offer our clients easy inspection of their cargo before delivery, storage both long and short periods , loading and unloading of sea freight containers and a full pick and pack service.
Our packing Department can also organise, either on site or at our premises, consignments, which for whatever reason require specialist packing for whatever mode of transport is required.
Services vary from providing just a basic securing of your consignment, to a full blown hazardous cargo packing and documentation to IATA/ICAO specification.

Blacksmith offers an inimitable service, where containers can be loaded and stored at our warehousing facility at Manchester Airport for customers that have no warehousing facilities of their own. In addition, we can offer a packing service for standard consignments and also those of a hazardous nature. Although being based at Manchester Airport, a large proportion of our business is sea freight. We import and export full and part container loads from all parts of the globe and have established an excellent reputation within the sea freight business.
